Who else has been tired of socials? I’ve been working solo for almost 7 years and the last two have been the hardest.

The noise… it’s not the work, I love my work but the noise has been relentless and while I have kept up w the needs of my clients, I stopped showing up on my own account.

I’m an open book and I have struggled sharing my business world because it’s intense and how to share that with you while being bombarded with 7 figures in 7 nights and grow ur followers in 6.7 secs has been 🤯🤮🤭especially while trying to raise two boys and be at the beck and call of my clients.

But I have some shifts happening and I know it’s time to reconnect with my peeps and find some new ones.

I had 25 years of luxury retail management behind me when I started my business. Chanel. Hugo Boss. Ferragamo. I knew the fundamentals of business, so the first thing I did before I took on a single client was sit down and work out what the business needed to generate to be worth building.

What was my investment?
What did I need to clear each month?
What did viable actually look like for me and my family?

My accountant has loved me for it ever since. Every time something changes, I go back to the numbers first. Every single time without fail.

Think of pricing like the slab of a house. You can build whatever you want on top of it, but if the foundation isn't right, nothing above it will hold. You'll keep adding. You'll keep adjusting. And you'll keep wondering why it still feels unstable.

What I see most often is people starting at the wrong place. They say yes before they're ready. They take on clients before they know their numbers. They find something in the middle of a group chat and hope for the best. Sometimes it works out. More often it quietly doesn't, and they can't work out why everything feels harder than it should.

It doesn't have to be that way. Your numbers are your friends. They're not scary, in fact they're the most clarifying thing in your business. Get them right and everything else makes sense.

The brands I work with don't come to me because they need more content.

They come because things feel heavy.

Growth has happened. Revenue has increased. The team needs to grow. And marketing has started to feel reactive, messy, or entirely on their shoulders when it is the last thing they want to carry.

That is usually when I step in.

Not to do socials or tick boxes. To sit inside the business properly. To get things organised, map the campaigns, look at the flows, and connect email and social so they support each other instead of competing for attention. To understand the customer well enough that we stop guessing.

The work is collaborative and hands-on. It removes a significant amount of pressure. And because I work with a small number of brands at a time, there is genuine space to plan properly, build ahead, and be available when something comes up.

I am fairly particular about being proactive rather than reactive. Not in a productivity-hack way. Just in a way that gives a business breathing room.

When everything is reactive, you are always catching up. Every email feels urgent. Every campaign feels last minute. When things are planned and structured, there is margin. And margin changes the energy inside a business. It means you can say yes to the unexpected. It means you are ahead more often than you are behind.

For the first time in almost three years, I have a space opening.
